Chelsea midfielder Thibaut, who was part of the squad that won the Premier League last season, has shared his favourite memories of the Premier Leagues.
In a video posted on Twitter on Wednesday, Thibaut talked about his time at Stamford Bridge, his love of the Barclays Premier League, his relationship with former club Chelsea and his hopes to be part of a team in the next Premier League.
“I have been to a lot of Premier Leavers’ games and been very impressed by the quality of the football that has been played,” Thibaut said.
“The players have been great.
The atmosphere has been great and it’s all been a pleasure to be a part of.”
Thibaut, 25, said he was at Stamford Hill to watch Chelsea’s last game in the Premier league, and was looking forward to returning to the club after a long break from football.
“It was a big honour to be at this club and to have played for the club that has always given me so much pleasure and it is going to be fantastic to get back into the PremierLeague next season,” Thibauts comments said.
Thibault has scored 19 goals in his first four Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
