The Verge is reporting that the NFL is trying to move its front row coverage to the ESPN app and that the network is not happy with how it’s getting the coverage.
The Verge reports that the changes are not coming with the usual “front row” news items but instead will see more of a news segment that will be focused on the NFL’s other main programming, the NFL Network.
This new section will focus more on games from the NFC East and the AFC West, as well as the rest of the NFL.
There are also changes to how games are scored and the broadcast crew will be moved to a new location to provide more coverage.
The Verge says the move was not related to the NFL-NFC deal, which has not yet been finalized.
According to the report, ESPN has also changed the way it displays ratings from its platforms and is changing the way the company calculates and displays viewership numbers.
ESPN is not releasing the details of these changes.
We’ll have more details on the changes as they become available.
